Celebrating learner and employer training success

Last week we were delighted to join learners, employers and colleagues at the annual North Wales Training awards.

Along with around 100 others, we celebrated and reflected on the achievements of the last year. We heard stories about how people had achieved their goals, how they'd developed new skills and progressed in their careers. Learners talked about improving confidence and the importance of the qualifications they'd gained with the support of our colleagues at North Wales Training.

We also recognised the role employers play in enabling employees to achieve their goals, and their continued commitment to apprenticeships.

Gareth James, MD of COPA Apprenticeships said: "Celebrating success is such an important part of the learner journey. I love taking the opportunity to reflect on the progress made, the skills developed and the qualifications gained.

"It was great to hear how apprenticeships have helped people develop the skills they need for now – and for the future. So many talked about the learning bug – how they’re motivated and committed to developing their skills and progressing even further.

"And, hearing employers talking about the tangible impact of apprenticeships and other training programmes, served as a brilliant reminder of what we do every day. What a great night."
