We help businesses to achieve more. COPA Apprenticeships develops and delivers professional apprenticeships for businesses across England. Our apprenticeships help teams to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours. We support employees to progress their careers.
Apprenticeships are proven to have impact:
Construction apprenticeships through Copa are ideal for organisations wishing to develop staff with basic or minimal knowledge all the way through to fully fledged bricklayer. Our programmes are supported by delivery centres that allow for staff to learn, practice and refine their skills all year round, indoors.
The L2 bricklayer apprenticeship is for someone who's just starting their career in construction or wants to brush up on their skills in their current role. Or it could be for someone who wants to change roles completely and move into bricklaying.
Our Care qualifications are designed to support those in the most important industry, the industry of care for our people.
The L2 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship is for someone who's just starting their health and social care career or wants to develop their skills in their current role. Or it could be for someone who wants to change roles completely and move into care for the first time.
The L3 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship is for someone who's looking to build on their skills and gain formal care accreditation in their current role. The L3 is essential in many care environments in order to progress into more senior care positions.
Each and every business is different. This is why we offer a range of delivery options such as face-to-face support, online learning and residential modules. Our delivery model is designed to meet the requirements of specific apprenticeship standards. Our programmes enable apprentices to develop job-relevant skills, knowledge and behaviours.
We work with our employer partners to understand their business needs and demands. We listen and learn throughout the development and delivery of our apprenticeship programmes. Together we'll determine whether we need to flex and adapt our approach to suit the apprentice, their line manager and their business.
We allocate a tutor and learning mentor to every apprentice. With complementary skills and capabilities, they support apprentices and employers in different ways. Tutors support apprentices with the acquisition of knowledge and skills. They ensure apprentices develop technical knowledge and know-how, and are able to apply their skills to their role. Learning Mentor's perform a mentoring role. They help apprentices to develop and display the behaviours required for competence.
Together they provide continuity and ongoing support, and ensure success. They offer different perspectives on progress and development, providing regular feedback to employers and the apprentice’s line manager.
Each and every business is different, which is why we use a range of delivery options – face-to-face support, online learning and residential modules – within our programmes.
